Seadragonz have been awarded ‘Excellence in Aquatic Safety - Induction and Professional Development’ as part of the National Aquatic Industry Safety Awards.
The awards are an initiative of the National Aquatic Industry Safety Committee to acknowledge the achievements of aquatic facilities and individuals towards improving health and safety outcomes within their communities.
Craig Roberts, National Manager Aquatic Industry, Royal Life Saving Society – Australia said ,“By celebrating the excellent work being done by individuals and organisations, our goal is to motivate people within the industry to increase the level of safety for their community, cultivating an environment where health and safety initiatives are continually being reviewed and developed.”

Seadragonz was established in 2012 by Lari McDonald, an impassioned aquatic industry veteran with a vision to create a learning environment ideal for students and staff alike.
Seadragonz have demonstrated a strong commitment to development and a proactive approach to
up-skilling facility staff. Running an annual crisis media management course is one initiative provided
by the centre to equip employees with well-rounded skills to assist in their role.
Seadragonz does not offer a job, but a career in learn to swim with long term employment potential.
