Draft 1 Outdoor Recreation Training Package Product Consultation



Royal Life Saving Society - Australia are the Aquatic Industry representatives on the National Sport and Recreation Industry Reference Committee.

SkillsIQ, under the direction of the Sport and Recreation Industry Reference Committee (IRC) and the guidance of the Outdoor Recreation Technical Advisory Committee (O Rec TAC) is undertaking a thorough update of all Outdoor Recreation related Training Package Products packaged within the SIS10 Sport, Fitness and Recreation Training Package.

Draft 1 of the Outdoor Recreation Qualifications, Skills Sets, Units of Competency and associated Assessment Requirements will be open for public consultation from 16th of August to 17th of September, 2018.

Draft 1 material is available for comment on the SkillsIQ Feedback Forum. A consultation guide summarising proposed changes is available can also be downloaded from the Feedback Forum.

Throughout the consultation period SkillsIQ will also be undertaking a number of other activities to engage industry stakeholders and VET professionals to gather feedback. These will include a series of national consultation forums, stakeholder interviews and webinars.
