The board of Austswim has announced the appointment of Carl Partridge as its new Chief Executive.
Moving from his current role of General Manager – Major Facilities for the city of Whittlesea, Partridge has extensive experience across sport and recreation and entertainment sectors. Over the last 25 years he has held director and senior executive roles in a wide range of membership- based organisations at national and international level. His work spans from English football’s Fulham Club, international cricket, gymnastics and ice hockey.
At the city of Whittlesea since 2016, as Manager of Major Facilities, Partridge successfully increased participation, dramatically improved financial performance, customer experience and brand awareness.
In addition he has held several advisory and non-executive roles for lobbying organisations and governing bodies. Partridge has been highly creative and successful in delivering business-changing strategies that have relaunched companies resulting in multiple awards and recognition for these organisations across the sector.
John Rigby, Austswim chairman stated “we are delighted to be welcoming Carl into the role of Chief Executive Officer.” Carl Partridge is set to join Austswim on 1st August.
