Extension of close date for the National Aquatic Industry Workforce Survey

We've had a great response so far and they are still coming in! The survey will now close at midnight on Fri 14th June.

Royal Life Saving, on behalf of the National Aquatic Industry Safety Committee (NAISC), launched the National Aquatic Industry Workforce Survey in early May.

Thank you for your responses so far, which have been coming in from all corners of our industry. Over the final 2 weeks we are still very keen to hear from all those that make up the aquatic industry workforce.

We plan to use the information gathered to help shape policy and programs that will benefit the working lives of those in the industry, and strengthen the industry as a whole.

For the purposes of this survey, 'aquatic industry' means that the organisation/body that you are employed by, or that employs your services, is involved in the facilitation of water-based activities and programs in aquatic facilities. The survey is focused specifically on paid workers only.

This includes Swimming and Water Safety Teachers, Pool Lifeguards, Facility Managers, Swim School Managers and Coordinators, Aquatic Fitness Instructors, Aquatic Technical Operators, Customer Service Officers, Administration Officers and many more important roles, which are identified in the survey questions.

The survey is anonymous but participants who choose to leave their name and email address will be eligible to win a $100 JB Hi-Fi gift voucher.

The survey now closes midnight Friday 14 June and the 30 lucky winners will be contacted by email by 30 June, 2019.
